Just saw this... this site hasn't given me notifications on comments since I started. Weird.

I'm so glad you found it useful! We just came out of the Rx two weeks ago, and still in shadow until the turn of April.

I just saw this... for some reason this site hasn't ever alerted me when I get article comments....

I love that we have such different approaches though Shellie :) To expansion!

Is the shadow period as bad (sorry for the sloppy descriptor) as the retrograde itself?

I am only seeing this now. For some reason, Substack has never alerted Me to comments on My articles. I have had to manually go through and look at them as Readers do. It's very strange and I have not found a remedy for it.

Anyway, no, the shadow is not "as bad" at all (and I appreciate that we agree that such a descriptor does not get to the point, but it sure is easy). It happens when the planet has already moved back direct, but has not reached where it began its remedial journey. So, a shadow period is still remedial. Jupiter won't be at full strength again until the turn of April if we subscribe to this approach (which is a Modern Western concept, this "retrograde shadow." Classical Western does not use it AFAIK, and Vedic/Joytish actually considers Rx planets stronger).

Good timing btw. You responded on the day Jupiter went back direct :) Not sure if that was intentional or not.
